Joseph P. Stevenson, D.O., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Stevenson earned his undergraduate degree at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, and was graduated from the Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois where he completed a rotating internship. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Rush-Presbyterian, St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He finished his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Rush-Presbyterian, St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where he served as Chief Fellow. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Stevenson's professional interests include congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and transesophageal echocardiography. He joined Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates in July 2000 and currently serves as President of Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates.
