Sierra Nevada Cardiology Associates (SNCA) has been “setting the standard” in heart care in northern Nevada and eastern California since its inception in 1989. SNCA began with six cardiologists after a merger of two distinct cardiology practices in Reno. Currently, SNCA has fifteen cardiologists and three physician assistants with their primary office location in Reno, along with a Reno South Meadows clinic location, as well as eight outreach clinics in Northern Nevada and Eastern California.
Since 1989, SNCA has offered comprehensive, cost-effective heart care and has developed a reputation as a leader in providing quality cardiac and now, vascular care to the area. Over the years, SNCA has strived to be at the forefront in the latest innovations, technology, and techniques used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and vascular disease. SNCA has also been devoted to providing cardiac services to the rural communities in our service area with our extensive rural outreach program, thus bringing heart care “closer to home”.
Our mission is to provide quality, comprehensive and cost-effective care with the highest level of service to our patients, referring healthcare providers, hospitals and communities we serve.
